Water resources issues
Water resources issues relate to how much water there is and where it goes. The issues discussed include: the availability of domestic water supplies, the effects of low flows on the ecology of the river, and how land management practises can reduce the flow of water into the river in times of spate, and increase it during times of drought, thereby reducing the severity of floods and droughts.
