Habitats issues
Many important habitats are associated with the waters of the Dee catchment.
Various local initiatives are already addressing issues relating to some of these habitats. For example, the NE Local Biodiversity Action Plan has developed a Wet and Riparian Woodlands Habitat Action Plan and one for Wetlands is being developed in association with the RSPB. The actions that have been agreed in plans such as these have been incorporated in the relevant Dee CMP Action Cards.
